Matthew Brassard is a civil engineer with more than 30 years of experience related to site development projects. He specializes in providing site planning and design, site utility engineering, stormwater management, and permitting coordination services. Matt’s broad range of practical experience – which includes land surveying, construction review, roadway and utility system design, and hydrologic site modeling – provides a reliable base of knowledge to support a creative and inclusive design approach. In addition to his solid technical background, he also offers an extensive knowledge and in-depth understanding of the intricacies of public review and approval strategies, and site construction methods and processes, shepherding many projects from concept through construction.
With enthusiasm and energy, Matt balances two roles at Nitsch Engineering of DC. As an Executive Project Manager, Matt oversees strategic projects. As Managing Director, he is overseeing the growth of Nitsch Engineering of DC.
Matt has a B.A. in History from University of Massachusetts – Amherst, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from University of New Hampshire.
